eVOA vs Multiple Entry Business Visa (D2) to Indonesia

If you’re someone who travels a lot to Indonesia for business or leisure, you might find that the process can be time-consuming and sometimes, stressful!  Understanding various visa options, such as the Electronic Visa on Arrival (E-VOA) or Multiple Entry Business Visa beforehand might help you smoothen your travel experience.

What is the Indonesian e-VOA (electronic Visa On Arrival)?

The e-VOA (electronic Visa on Arrival) is designed for those who’d like to have short-term visits to Indonesia, allowing a single entry for a stay up to 30 days. It caters travellers whose purpose is  for tourism, government visits, business meetings, or transit.  You can obtain e-VOA by queuing in one of these ports of entry: Jakarta, Denpasar, and other most big cities which can be found here. However, during high season the queue might be daunting and it might take 30 mins just to obtain the e-VOA and take out money from the ATM machine (cash-only payment). With SPUN, you can prepare the e-VOA by purchasing it online,  pre-departure

What is a Multiple Entry Business Visa (D2)?
Multiple Entry Business Visa is an ideal choice if you’re someone who travels to Indonesia a lot on multiple short stays. It allows you to get a total stay period of up to 60 days for over a year. This visa is perfect for anyone needing the flexibility to enter and exit Indonesia multiple times, for business meetings, seminars, conferences, and similar activities, as long as they're not taking up employment or the intention of receiving an income
